Oral Surgery Principles aims to teach the necessities of oral surgery including: patient assessment, medical history, surgical principles, introduction to third molar extraction, consent and anatomy.
This module teaches surgical execution, flap design, sectioning techniques and protocols, clinical prosthetic tips and more. Hands-on training is present at every module.
Advancing extraction skills from previous modules, Atraumatic extraction protocols, extraction considerations prior to implant placement, complications and their management and prevention.
Spend time improving your skills using surgical models, pig-heads, learning from leaders in the field.
Students are given the unique opportunity to perform surgery under supervision.
With a high student to teacher ratio, students are left feeling confident while performing extractions.
Live Surgery goes over two days and enables students to treat their own patients, act as assistants, observe, have mentoring discussions, learn sterilisation protocols and key surgical principles in a clinical environment. Each student will be allowed one patient with up to 4 extractions.
