11 and 21 Implant Placement and Planning

Restoratively driven implant placement is a key criteria to implant success. Well angulated dental implants allows for appropriate emergency profile, soft tissue sculpturing and ideal aesthetic outcome. Guided implant surgery is integral to the accuracy of implant placement.

Accuracy of implant placement in the anterior region is integral. Implants should be placed 3mm subgingival from the desired gingival zenith point and 2.5-3mm palatal.

Implant Placement : Implants have been placed against the palatal wall for ideal emergence profile and within natural bony housing. A mixture of autogenous and zenograft have been placed and covered with a cross-linked collagen membrane. A PRF membrane was placed over the membrane and stabilised with resorbable sutures. Closure is completed with non-resorbable PTFE and silk sutures.
